Social Impact / Civic Tech

Web Design (2024)
Tools: Figma

Equotee (pronounced like Equity) is a civic tech software reducing barriers to property co-ownership and sweat equity fairness for residents in Aotearoa.

Note: Worked directly with founder, Anna Zam, to better understand local real estate landscape, competitor landscape, cultural norms & home ownership biases, and website interface norms.

  • Update the landing page design to reflect the latest product features and startup accolades

    • Multigenerational families

    • Young joint homeowners who need co-ownership management tools

    • Focusing on people-centered benefits to the new tool

Behind the collaboration

I met Anna, the founder of Equotee, through the Climatebase Fellowship as newly acquainted members of Cohort 5. Our conversations began when I asked about her personal takes on AUT and Massey, since I was pursuing a Masters in Design at the time.

Later, she invited me to redesign the Equotee website to reflect its new features in development and best ways to encourage early user adoption.
